anybody have any ideas on how to mix flakes and hikari pellets into one cube or tablet or any form? my jardini will take flakes but only if they are just added to the tank. once the flakes get soggy he spits them out. he wont take pellets at all.
is there a way i can crush the flakes and pellets and make an easy to bite food?

the only way i can think of is crush up the pellets and the flakes finely mush it in water and freeze it... ?

One of the Mod.s here used a pepper mill to grind up hard dry food.

Have you tried the stavation method yet?

i sorta want that to me my last choice. hes taking flakes but like i said only if theyre just right. cant be too soggy or big. lucky i got my cichlids to eat his leftovers. im gonna try the fine crushing and water.

floating hikari pellets are garbage imo... my fish never ate those and i switched to spectrum line of foods....ive kept numerous speicies of central south and african species that all do very well on this particular food... flakes i only use 1 kind and that spirulina/algea flake...imo thats the only way to go.. ur loading ur guys up with so much protein with those pellets and they need the algea to help regulate them.. i feed 80% flake. live feeders twice a month and i dont feed my fish for 1 day once a week... try feeding him much less a few days before u make a switch and cut down on all the protein
