I just moved into an apartment and it gets a little warm. I sure miss my house and the cool breeze I had for the many years but this is a temp move till my daughters graduate from high school (moved for the school district).

The apartment has an attic fan that blows gently into the living room, hallway and 2 bedrooms (aprox 900-950 sqft). I do not notice much of a difference when it is on. I've considered buying a window AC, portable AC, whole house fan and an attic fan. Each has its Pros n Cons but the biggest thing is I don't want to invest this much since it is a temporary move.

With that said, I have been looking into DIY stuff and one idea led to another. I seen this and thought it might be a good idea to put the coil at the attic fan as seen below.

Here is where the idea is at... bulkheads to the fridge and have a constant pump pushing water. What would be the best way to seal small the bulkheads to keep the fridge insolated?

Or is this a bad idea in general lol

Got my answer...

I will call mfg and see where the coils to the specific refrigerator is and try and go from the back or side of wall.

Ha, west asking fish nerds for DIY advice. Just cuz they can do a water change don't mean they can solve global warming or apartment cooling
