I am at the final stages of my diy background. I have been reading so much info...not sure where to go with it next...do I seal the background with a epoxy resin? If so what kind if necessary at all? I used the pink sheets of insulation that you get from home depot-sealed it with hydraulic cement. Now what?

I just really need to know if I need to coat the hydraulic cement used on the background with a epoxy resin of some kind? If so what brand/or type will be safe for the fish? thanks
