Does anyone know of a good recipe for DIY pellets that doesn't take too much time to make? Or a source of good cheap pellets. We're talking decent sized pellets, for the biggest of fish like pima, alligator gar, pacu, RTC, TSN, etc. Thanks!

I scoured around and found a few recipes. Of these, which is the best? Should I go with one of them, or create sort of a "hybrid" between two or more types of them? Or would it be easier to feed Purina game fish chow/catfish chow? We're talking about alligator gar, arapaima, pacu, large catfish, arowanas, datnoids, FW tarpon, possibly FRT, clown knives, and SAL. True monsters, lol!

RECIPE 1 (Monster Peacock's Recipe):
-1.5 pounds of shrimp (white shrimp, with head, shell, and tail - raw)
-1.5 pound of anchovies (or similar fish)
-2 large whole mackerel (or similar fish)
-2 whole garlic
-Large splash of Vita-Chem
-25% ratio of flour
Basically blend, mix, bake, cut, bake again, and store in a large sealed airtight container. There's a video on YT of it.

RECIPE 2 (AZ Fish Fool's Recipe):
-2 bags of small shrimp (no shells)
-1 bag of scallops (need to find something similar to this because they're too expensive)
-2 handfuls of spinach
-2 handfuls of carrots
-1 bag of catfish nuggets
-2 tilapia filets
-5 cloves of garlic
-2 small cans of V8
-20 crickets
-1 tub of nightcrawlers
Just put them individually (except the vegetables, do them all at once) into a food processor and scrape it into a pot. Then cook it on the stove at medium for 10 minutes. Then add gelatin until the thickness is good. After that smash it flat and freeze it.

RECIPE 3 (Shark.Bait's Recipe):
-1/3 cup of green beans
-1 cup of beef heart (heard this is bad - true or false?)
-1/2 cup of krill
-1/2 cup of scallops (need to find a replacement)
-1/4 cup of shrimp
-1/4 cup of night crawlers
-25% ratio of flour
-1 tablespoon of garlic powder
-4 crushed up multivitamins
Blend the first 6 ingredients up with a little bit of water. Crush the vitamins up and add in the garlic powder, then run that through a food processor to make sure it's super fine and add that into the blended mixture. Add in the flour and mix that up. Bake it and cut it, then store it in an airtight container so it lasts longer

Nope. Just wondering because I am considering a large pond with some of those fish (in the 40x20 foot range) and feeding them massivore would be expensive, lol!

Beef heart is not that bad not a lot of fat on the heart if any people are just worried about mamal fat which isn't processed well by fish if it's going to be a main staple I would sub it out for something else high in protein

That's my concern, mammal fat isn't processed too well by most fish. I'll probably add in random scrap fish, I'm a big fisherman. I'll freeze it to kill anything, no cooking though

I really like the second recipe I think I will try it I have never made fish food before but always wanted to might have trouble putting the crickets and worms into the wife's food processor so will have to replace those with something
