I finished building my filter yesterday and connected it up and it works greats. Costs me around $50 to build. Here is a page I created that details the process so that others can benefit:
http://www.interall.co.il/filter.html

i always have way to many ideas :grinno:
"didnt read that page so im unsure if you said your covering it lol"
but maybe get some mesh wire
mold it around the tupperware loosely in a ball shape
make it so it can be removed to clean filter
then spray some foam on the mesh
then carve on it to make it look like a big rock
then cover the foam with a thin layer of cement
and then paint it a stone color
in the end it will look just like a big rock up there
:headbang2
"just took the diy background idea is all" :D

they also sell big fake rocks but im sure they are pricey

After I have worked out all the kinks, I will be enclosing 3 sides with waterfall rocks so no one will see the filter and only from the back will it be exposed. I also need to think of how I will be covering it since the sun and rain will ruin the plastic cover over time
i just read the end of the page lol
the idea i said is still an idea to think about
:D
