I use flourish right now, but I feel my plants are really lacking. What can I add to help them out a little?
My house plants get epsom salt and coffee grounds and do great. Is anything like that able to be added in a tank for the plants that won't harm the fish? I'm more focused on keeping my fish healthy, but nice healthy plants would be nice too without having to go all out on buying expensive additives. Is that possible, or am I wanting the impossible?
The plants I have are vallisneria, hornwart, amazon sword, anacharis, fanwart, a few hardy lilis, and water hyacinth(I realize not much can be done to help the wh).
I do have fertilizer tabs for the lilies, but I haven't fed them yet.
