diy reptile cage

Im making a reptille cage,just to be creative.It will not be a tank but a little fence like cage.the cage holes would have to be as big as a fishing net.the species of reptile im putting in the tank are tokays.Do u guys think this is a good idea.I think they would be able to climb a little better if they had a fence like cage,to grasp,as they climb.I am adding branches so they will feel at home in the wild.would homedepot or somehardware store sale some kind of fence like material like this

i saw an article on that type of thin in repltiles magzine, i think it would work ok, home depot probly has those fence things, they have like everything

That's what I was thinking too. I've seen a few like that around the flea markets here. They look pretty easy to build.
 
I don't think tokays grasp when they climb. I've never had one, so I don't know, but I think they'd be more comfortable with something planar that they can stick to when they climb. The Van der Waals forces likely won't work as well on something like netting or chicken wire unless it's a really fine mesh.
 
rubber coated chicken wire is what i have used for cages in the past
