So I'm a little lost on this I've gathered all my rock bought the aquarium safe silicone and somewhat figured out how I want the archway to look but I'm a little lost on how to keep the archway up while it dries! This set up will be going in a 55 gal long and another in a 45 gal show tank any help or a walk through from some one who's done this before would be really great! I can post pix too if needed.

I would recomend drilling holes and inserting acrylic dowel rod as well as silicone. I have never had alot of luck with just silicone even if it holds for a little while it won't for long.

The drilling idea sounds great but I don't have a drill....some one said there's a puddy I could use but I haven't found it or remember the name he used. And yes this would be something like a cave but more of just an arch like a stone rainbow lol

im trying to do something like that....i did the rocks still working on them though..

WOW!!!! yours is way more bad ass then mine.......how did you do that?!?!?! That's ideally how id like mine to look for other tanks but I simply have a pile of rocks in different shapes and sizes and two tubes of silicone....

well this is my 200 gallon tank so your rocks might be smaller and use about 2 to 3 tubes...

So the backs to all of your rocks are flat? Mine are jagged and don't match at all nor do I have the means to do so...did you buy yours pre cut? Or did it come in a kit of some sort? Your backround is amazing and something like that would be cool in one of my dart frog tanks so I'd really like to learn how you did that!!!

Well i used some 2 inch and 1.5 inch foam.. i put them together overlapping so its harder to tell where it splits the backgorund has some spots that i didnt like and i will fix.. i will be adding like some more foam like two or three pieces where it looks flat..yes the back if flat against the glass but the rocks are cut way into the back soo it looks deep i think some spots are like 8 inches deep... the back is four pieces theeres a piece on the left you can see in the picture is one piece and conects to the other pieceon the back.. so it looks like the raibow maybe you were talking about...i put up a thread of how it looked before so u can look at it i guess no one liked it because they did not respond..
