diy siphon

i went to homedepot and saw that i could get everthing for a long siphon to do water except the clear tubing. do they sell that clear tubing anywhere? what can i use?

I use garden hoses. I have a cheap hose for emptying and one that is safe for potable water for refilling.

I saw some clear tubing at lowes that ranged from 1/4'' to 1-5/8'' inner diameter that was like $1 a foot for there bigger tubing.

they do sell clear tubing at lowes and home depot

yeah they sell the tubing at home depot... its in the plumbing department...

ok well ill go and check it out. if i get an attachment for the otherside so i can hookup a hose, the end is metal i was wondering will that metal piece rust? will the fishwater do anything to it? i was looking on homedepot and lowes website but i couldnt find the clear piping. does anyone know the name of it?
