just thought i would share my upgrade since this forum gave me the idea...waiting for filter to come but did tests with garden house...3/4 ID pvc.."jets" are straight line couplers sanded and filed out to slide over pipe.. hole size and slots final size will be determined when i see pressure with filter..not done but the idea is there:nilly: ADHD 4 teh win

everyone seemed unimpressed so i built one complete...needs paint but...45 degrees rotation every section..most will point at surface but i like having option of directing flow were ever

thank you...i may add one more section ..have to fit up with 3d background first, but waiting for FX5 to come ...one more thing...you could cut the couplers in half and rotate each hole independently..i might do that but gotta get water flowing and see if i need it ...

ok so maybe they need to hurry up and get my filter to me...and maybe im overcompinsating because i bought an aqua terra background and didnt DIY one...im hung on my tank build and pvc is cheap

:nilly:<me looking for something to do!

exactly...bar will be mounted high and most will be pointed at surface...but i want the option of pointing one at a dead spot or rock pile to help circulation ...trying to compensate for running bar short ways instead of across back.

i might post a thread on my whole tank build..."how to build in a 48 7/8 tank in a 4 foot corner in an old house with crooked walls"...ok so the title is to long

nice like the idea. I like having options on changing were the water flows. Lets you make a more realistic environment, water never travels exactly the same.
