near but far
K I got a ~210g tank that im gonna hard plumb (1st time doing). I am using 1" pvc and a pump rated for 1800gph but, wondering about my spray bar. The bar is going to be 3/4" but, dunno what size holes I should use. Any tips or suggestions?

Thanks man was thinking of doing 3/16". Really dont want to do a trial and error because I would have to drain slightly each trial. One more thing... when doing long pieces of pvc how would you guys keep the lengths from sagging? Putting small scrap pieces under the pipe? Btw thanks for the replies!

How long of a run are you talking? In most cases the run shouldn't be long enough to warrant any additional support.

Well the tank is 7' long and im placing the intake almost to the end of the tank. I'd say 5' run... im trying to upload some pics but I think I gotta go to my comp to do that.

use heater clips with suction cups....so you are going to be putting the spray bar on the back wall of the tank and shooting toward the front of tank?
