DIY stand

Hi guys. I'm gonna be building my own DIY stand for a 48X30X20 tank.

my only problem is that I don't have the space for the 4x2x8 so I was just thinking of getting them cut at the hardware store. Putting them together will be easier for me since I can always borrow an electric screwdriver. So my question is this:

How many pcs of wood would I need to get cut and what are the sizes? I'm planning to put a 55g sump which is 4' underneath. So if anyone out there is an expert on DIY stands your help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I'd suggest drawing it out on paper and getting everything put together. Before we can give you an answer, I would need to know how you plan on building the stand.

Well I watched the king of diy video and he has almost the same exact tank and I'm planning to build it like that. He wasnt very clear on the sizes of the wood needed. He only mentioned the 48" and 36" pcs.
 
I did a sticky a while back that had what is generally deemed as a solid design. You can start there to know exactly what you want. Check int he DIY section.
