Another WW member and I put a couple hours last night into a stand for a 120. We both steel frame / drywall for work so we got the steel for free. It was extra from a store front we had built a while ago. the studs are 18 gauge galvinized and the track is 16 gauge galv.
even though the steel is galv. we thought it would be a good idea to paint it, ( just like steel framing an indoor pool)
we also wrapped the outside with 5/8 plywood (except the front)but i had already brought the camera in.
we will be drywalling the inside (green board) and adding electric outlets and switches. so there will only be 1 cord coming out of the tank stand. there will be a switch for the tank lights and a switch for the cabinet light.
i will post more steps as they are done.
so what do you guys think so far.
