i'm wanting to build a sump for my 210gal. few noob questions i've done some research but it's still clear as mud on how everything works.

What would be an appropriate size sump for my 210?
I currently have a FX5 and another smaller canister on it.
i know bigger is better...

Which is the best method for the overflow part to the sump?
I would prefer not to drill...

Would having a sump will improve water clarity as well?

thanks in advance.

1a) 1/4 th to 1/3rd of the tank size, depending on the bio-load.

3a) Yes, as long as you use the proper filter materials.
