I'm slowing becoming a w/d addict here, the flexibility is endless. Just picked up another small factory w/d. Plus I also have a couple of xtra tanks laying around the house empty.
My thought is to drill the W/D panel and the 20 or 33 gallon aquarium and connect the two via a pvc pipe. To give my tank more capacity.. First of all has anyone attempted this? There's a lot of bright people on this forum and I'd like to generate some feedback. This would be for a 210 gallon tank....
To get the ball rolling I'm assuming I'd be drilling the w/d just at the targeted water level.. With the Sump aquarium would I be drilling at the same height? or how could I achieve a larger volume(higher level) of water in the sump versus the w/d? return pump would be located in the sump...
I'm thinking out loud here and as soon as I can sketch something that's legible I'll post....Let me hear and see your ideas.....after all why re-invent the wheel
