DIY sump

I'm going to use a sump for the first time on my new tanks.If anyone can help point me to some good DIY project threads.Or just some good advice.Here are the tanks I bought.I am keeping 6 tanks and I think I will use one of them for the sump.But I dont have a clue where to start really pump size and so forth
The tanks are from a Walmart display and are 33gl long 4' x 1' x 1'.

I'm hoping to set it up like this but with one on top since my tanks will be smaller than these.The top tank will start at 5'.I want to use 5 tanks for fish and one as the sump for the system

If you have ready all of the information regarding sump in the stickies, you should be ready for an initial design. What are you thinking about doing?
