diy tank stand option

so my cousin tells me that a stand for a 7ftx2ftx2ft dont come standard and would need to be custom made (she owns and runs a lfs). so now im thinkin bout makin the stand myself.. i have experience with wood such as building subwoofer boxes for cars and such and my dad has built plenty of random stuff.. so we're workin on this project together. anyone have tank stand drawings or layout designs they would like to share?

actually, perfecto makes one because their 265 is 7x2.

Check the DIY secton. There is a ton that you can steal the design from.

I would do a 2x4 frame with panelling. Can't get much simpler, and they are strong.

I second that. simple, strong, and relatively cheap(at least, a lot cheaper than store bought)

so basically vertical 2x4s with panelling around the structure?

All the pictures from the old DIY stands are missing still. I just searched for them.

The back is the same as the front, just add one more support brace.

The part that is floating up above is the top. It sits with the others two support legs. I'll throw it together as a whole picture for ya.
