DIY tank stand

im buying a tank which is just over 8' long, and just over 300 gallons, but it doesnt come with a stand, so im building one myself, ive designed one on 'google sketchup' and just want to know if any one else has done something like this, and if you think that this will be a good design or not, i need it to be simple because i dont exactly have a whole workshop in my garage.

To be honest it looks overbuilt with limited storage underneath. Go to the link at the bottom by my signature, on the 1st page is the stand I built for my 315G. Lots of space underneath. Good luck!

Dang, that looks like it can support a freight train. Here is mine for a 650g tank.

That looks pretty good. I still think it's a little overbuilt. At 300g and 8.5 lbs/gallon you're looking at around 2550 lbs. With 18 vertical supports each is only carrying 85lbs. I'm pretty sure a 2x4 can carry a lot more than that.
