Diy Tanks????

Hi i was looking in building a tank for some time now,But i was thinking how long does a wooden tank last be for it becomes a risk? Like wood rot,seams starting to leak ect.

All depends how well the tank is sealed. There are whole threads dedicated to how best to do this already. A wooden tank with viewing panel is a viable option though.

depending on how well you build will determine its longevity. i've heard that some epoxy resins are good for 20 years. I've also heard of diy tanks lasting this long

Yup.....Going to depend on how well you build it. If you build it strong, and seal it using fiberglass and epoxy resin, it should last for a very long time.
