Nesting soil will be between 4 and 6 inches deep, and the ramp & part of the nesting area will be directly under the basking lamps. The back corner will be dark, damp & warm, perfect for egg laying for when my female starts to dish em out!

Here is a very crude mockup of it.. the front door slides up and out if need be for easy access to everything,

I like the concept. Wouldnt it be less of a hassle to the front door a slider. And not any more work. Just put the runner on top and bottom and two peices of glass instead of one. Im sure you get what i mean. My only concern is taken the glass on and of something is bown to get broke sooner or latter. Looks good thow.
