DIY - TURTLE HOME/dock :)

So i didnt have a clue where this goes cause its turtles and DIY. Its not a filter and its not a stand, but it is a "tank".

i made this in about half an hour, and here are the progression pics. im not gunna write much cause its 230 am and im tired, so ask all the questions you want and ill be sure to answer them for you.

btw, filtration on the tank consists of the ZooMed 501 reptile canister filter and a marineland canister filter with the 305 or 350 pro bio wheel things haha and a little power sponge filter at the bottom.

melting and then bending plastic stuff

drilled holes and attached with nuts and bolts

i put silicone and sand on the ramp so they could climb it, but i dont think its working so i have to coem up with something a little better tomorrow.

They might not be climbing the ramp because it is still semi-clear. Maybe add some more sand or something a bit bigger grain.

Very nice, but It looks like you need a UVB light with the UVA you already have.

i had one, but it broke. this is a replacement for the next few days untill pay day. no worries

and they go up to it and whatnot, im gunna take some grittier stuff and try that

Great idea! I used a rasp and roughed up the plastic then painted it when I did something similar.

i had a floating log, im try peeling away/cutting away the rough section. and then screw it to the thing
