I've seen some tanks throughout this forum were people use anything to keep veggies(for plecos and such) on the bottom of the tank, from forks to metel rods to rubber banded rocks. Well heres what i've been useing for a little while now. Its a jighead fish lure/hook/weight. Its coated with some type of epoxy so it will not leech lead into the water. They come in different weights and colors. I attached mine to my algae scruber with 12lbs test fishing line. Then put the magnet onto my hood for easy retrival. Oh ya, just make sure you cut the barb off of the hook portion or you'll be catching your own fish.

Also makes easy retrival of your magnet scruber if they dont float.

fantastic.. get a patent and get them on the market:)..

Wht happens if they eat around the hook? Then you can't pull the leftovers back up.

Great idea BTW.

Most leftovers float to the top and get caught in the overflow slots at the top of the overflow, were I can just grab them and throw them away.
