Im going to build 2 diy wet drys with over flows. I know what im going to use for the wet dry but i have seen so many different overflows. I am woundering which works best neither tank im going to put them on is drilled so i need a over flow that dosent require me drilling the tank? They will be going on a 150gal and a 220 gal as added filtration.

Thank you in advance for all ideas and advice.

If you check out the sticky in the DIY section, the long thread with the PVC overflow is great. I used those styles of overflows for a very long time and they do work very well. The only thing I'll suggest is that if the overflow requires you to suck air out of it, spend the money for an aqualifter. It might save your floor and it keeps you out of the air removal process (no mouth full of water).
