What size tank should i use to convert into a wet/dry filter and how do i make it and what are the stuff that we need for the parts of the filters?

Its going to be for my new 240 gallon FW Arowana tank...Their will be a Silver Arowana,Managuense,and a possible RTC but for the RTC he'll be into their for a while till the pond or pool is made.

Rule of thumb for a W/D sump is 1/4 to 1/3 the size of the original tank.
