DIY what would you do different?

So there is hundreds of DIY tanks on here, mainly plywood.

I know from experience what I'd do again if I redid the pond.

What would you do differently/change on the tanks if you did it all again?

i have nothing to complain about my first build. the only thing i would go back on is either build the tank in the house from the start and make it bigger or make it so it will fit inbetween the door lol. at 96x34x30.5 i had to knock out a basement window when it was time to go in the house

I would plan my overflows better. They turned out Ok after I redid them but I should have planned filtration better from the start.

im not done with mine but i would have gone bigger (mines 8,3,5) i would have done (8,4,5)

I would use the best 'proven' construction methods from the MFK DIY section.

Instead of trying to re-invent the wheel and end up being too clever by half...
