DIY XP3 Helpp

Hi all,
I just bought XP3 from craiglists for really cheap price. It doesn't has pipe, intake, spray bar or media.
First I would like to know what should I do for DIY intake/output pipe line?

and what should I use for internal media?

You can just go buy some hose barbs and a few pieces of PVC and make the spraybar and intake tube. That would only cost a couple of doallars in materials.

As for media, just buy some pot scrubbers, or go on Ebay and buy ceramic media. They both work really well.

I just don't want to reduce the gph because of my wrong set up. Any good Idea?

The difference created by new plumbing will be minimal. You could actually make it better than what it originally was if you do it right.

I Was actually looking for XP parts last night.

You can buy the whole plumbing kit for $50 and ust go to your local hardware store and buy some tubing.

I got a XP3 with no plumbing for a good price as well. I used heavy duty garden hose, a few bucks in PVC and black spray paint and it couldnt have worked out better. Very easy with just a few minutes in the plumbing isle at lowes. Drilled holes in the pvc for intake and spray bar, dont even need to glue it since it low pressure, everything has worked out fine so far.

I agree. There's no need to spend all that money buying replacement parts. Just put together a few PVC pieces and you will have the same thing.
