gachua is widely regarded as the easyest breeding , also just sent you pm about website ,

thanks man it is very useful , what about hermandrum question ?!

Hi,

gachua is (depending on which variant) often easy to keep, and to breed.
gachua are ovophil mouthbrooders in the male sex.
other mouthbrooding and egg feeding channa are sp. Assam, orientalis, stewartii, umangii (sp. five stripe) , aurantimaculata (but not sure eggfeeder).
pulchra is cavebreeding, ornatipinnis perhaps another mouthbrooder.
asiatica, obscura, marulioides, and I think more of the "big guys are nestbuiders on the surface, and no feeder eggs.

bleheri is very special, they are surface breeders AND egg feeders (unique to genus channa).
A good site is snakeheads.org

Cheers brucki
