instead of aquarium salt i buy a 40lb bag of salt (water softner) from home depot and it works just as good as aquarium salt..not to mention its $5 for 40lb

just curious if anyone else uses this method how do u like this salt compared to aquarium salt?

I use regular epsom salt from the local grocery store =) Always have on all my tank's. I usually throw hand fulls in during W/C.
