Assuming one has a large tank say 500 + gallons. What type of aro tends to be easier to keep in a group? This would include the Asain varieties, but I am particulary interested between the silver and black( i soo much prefer the physical look of these, the black being my favorite of all). Also what is the best number to have? Do the silvers and black view each other as the same? example would 2 blacks and 3 silvers be a problem? Or would this result in the two blacks fighting and show no aggersion to the silvers? I am trying to write down my dream list and this info is crucial to me. Thanks for your help, aro's are def. must have in the list.

i have seen all mixed together, but they do fight but with enough time and combos you could end up with a good group. just try to see any issues before death.

I figured that but what i am looking for is first hand experience. I am sure there are people out there who have had many combinations of aro groups and am hoping they can provide there experiences on the different combinations.

I haven't done it, but I've seen about 10 large silvers together.

i had 2 silvers and 2 blacks together. the silvers ignored the blacks and the blacks ignored the silvers but the blacks had to watch out for the silvers cuz they were twice the mass of the blacks. the silver seemed like they didn't even notice the blacks when the swan infront of them.
