Do arowana tanning light need replacement?

I am currently using a neo helios solar booster tanning light for my super red arowana. The light is 4 years old and used heavily. Do the tanning property of these kind of light reduce as they age? I do not see any difference in light brightness or any flickering

If they are true tanning lights that contain UVB then over time the UV output will diminish. I would think it's similar to reptile lights with UVB, which should be replaced once a year (every 12 months).
