Do barbels grow back??

I got a red wolf and it kept smashing into the glass. I realized that a large part of his small barbel got torn off. will it grow back???

Note. red wolfs do have tiny barbels like thigs if you look at it carefully.

Do you mean their nostrils maybe?! Like those of Channa sp.?

I'm afraid they don't grow back. Some barbels would, nostrils not so much.
