Do blue lobsters/crayfish need a filter to survive? or can he swim to the top and get air. I want to seperate him because hes eating 3 fishes and destroyed some plants

You can't add at least an airstone to his tank? He'll survive for awhile in a state of constant near-asphyxiation. It would be more humane to just kill it instead of torturing it. Just imagine never being able to rest because you have to work for each breath.

hes not going to stop eating fish, or destroying plants, thats what they do

yeah, if its that big a problem you probly will want to just get rid of him. maybe a pet store will be willing to take him or something
