I have 5 adult size Amano shrimps in 32 gallon tank where they are 3 congo spotted puffers. I initially bought them as food for the puffers but these very peaceful puffer have never tried to eat them, even when i starve them. they attached guppies but not the Amano shrimps.
Now, I do not know how much waste these Amano shrimps produce, if they are producing a lot of waste for this size tank, then i will get rid of them. otherwise if they are benefiting my tank, then i will keep them.
based on your experience, can you please share some insight?
