Do CK's form mated pairs

I bought these 2 together and they were in the same tank at the dealer. They seem inseparable and stay together all the time. They even rub on each other. Are CK's usually aggressive to their own kind or are they gregarious. Sorry about the dirty glass.

well at first when i first introduced them the gold tried to nipple on the royals fins... then i removed the gold... for a day the put him back and they were best friends

I've always wanted to get another CK, but I've never really raised 2 of them to the same size successfully (one always dies on me ). So I'm afraid of trying to introduce another CK to my current one.
