Hi,
My cons laid eggs (again) and they hatched but, the fry are out of the nest they were in and my pair is now under a log. do they move the fry around or did they eat them? I'm worried they ate them because I stuck my hand in to see if they wold bite it and I may have scared them.

yea they move them

No. They usually don't eat them. They are very very good parents in fact and in order to protect them, Cons may move their fry several times to safer hideouts.

How long have the fry been in the tank? if the pair is ready to breed again they will sometime eat the fry. but if the babies are still wrigglers youve got time. do you have gravel? its sometimes hard to spot them when theyre amoungst the gravel
