Do cow minnows exist

So i have a question so when i went before covid i will always see these dalmation/cow mosquito fish schooling so i wanted to know if there rare or just a common mutation also heres a pictureB0DBBB8A-BE47-4D8C-A63B-4FBCC65A65F5.jpeg

To me it closely resembles an eastern mosquito fish. It's actually quite common to find them in this color pattern. They are also often called dalmation mosquito fish or melanistic mosquito fish.
Oh okay yeah i find them just wondering if they were Rare or if i could breed them to get more color morphs from that morph
 
They can actually but in a pond setting dont know if in the aquarium setting tho
If they can in a pond I'd imagine they could in a tank. Not much of a size difference between gambusia and guppies so it should work out just the same I would think. Only difference I see with them is that gambusia can tolerate lower temps then guppies can but I think that's just do to the difference between the guppy being a tropical fish and the gambusia being a sub-tropical fish.

Yeah most probably the gambusia down here florida will be a better match for a guppy
