I'm looking for a species that will cruise mid to top water in my 4x2x2 120. I currently have a 9" disc motoro and 3 vampire tetras that are 6-7" with a 13" tuegelsi birchir. And I'm wondering if dats will cruise the tank and be less solitary like the rest

In my experience, they're more inquisitive when they are smaller... They tend to become more solitary as they get bigger.
.In my experience the bigger the dats are the more prone they are to being active and moving about the tank....it depends on the individual dat though for the most part.
My large dat cruises the tank relentlessly and begs for food like a dog. They cruise even more when they get about 3.5in or so.
