Hello. I was considering getting an elephant nose but I have no substrate. It is because my fish are all quite messy. All the sites say the the substrate should be soft. Do you think he would be alright in a bare tank. Tank size is 90 gallons with an a-knife, 5 leopard ctenos, a rope fish, farlowella catfish and an SAE.
