Do female and male oscars behave the same way??? Do they both dig and spit out sand and rocks, do they both fight off other fish for territory, do they both grow large and fast at the rate???

I guess then that there is no way to tell if you get a male or a female is there???

If you do not plan to breed and you are only keeping one when its grown will you ever know what you got, meaning male or female???

I know that you might one day find eggs if you have a female but does not always happen.

Can you tell by their actions alone without venting them???
