I've had this blood parrot for about a year and a half and is about 7" or so. He's the most aggressive BP I've ever had. He killed his last tankmate, an oscar about the same size. He immediately attacks me everytime I clean the tank and attacks any inanimate objects I drop in the tank. I try to rearrange everything before adding new fish in the tank but as soon as a new setup is set, he claims all of it buy doing its own landscaping LOL. Well now I just put in a 6" Jar. Despite it being a Jar and having random aggression episodes around the whatever mark, do you think he'll come to his senses when bigger and get revenge? Have you ever had any other fish take revenge as in this case? The BP just constantly follows the very active jar around trying to ram him.

Worse comes to worse I can separate them. I figure the jar would last, esp since he's more active than the oscar I had (he just took the blows...) plus it's a jar.

It could stress the Jar into not eating and that could kill it. The Jar is still very small they don't really start getting aggressive until twice that size.

fish do remember which fish to attack in particular, but i am not sure whether its for revenge or just territorial dispute where the loser is not able to move from the territory and gets constantly attacked by the winner
