Do Flower horn's Like Gran Sumo Food?

I haven't been feeding my 12 inch ZZ flower horn for about 5-6 days, every time I put in gran sumo pellets, he's not interested. There very small pellets, what should I do to make him eat them? I've tried almost everything.

Get a bigger size or different food

Mine doesn't really like them either. It kind of sucks because those canister's aren't cheap. I've noticed that mine will eat Hikari pellets to some degree but he goes nuts over JBL Novo Flower Maxi.

Ask people who keep them...in the hybrid section.

Try feeding a mix of grand sumo and another brand. My fish will not eat Grand Sumo alone and honestly it's not the best staple food.

I use variety but NLS as a staple best for the money
