  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I can only speak from my personal experiences and say yes the Green Terrors ive owned their colour has got better as they mature and age also other things like food etc can help.

Be good to see some pictures and good luck.

Thanks Darren.

Mine started out at about 1" with a good bit of orange on the tail and top fin. Then at about 1.5" it faded to not much. Now he's all colored up again at about 4" and getting more and more colorful as he grows.....And he's starting to get some great trailers now!

I'm feeding omega1, NLS, blood worms, and mysis shrimp. Pellets in the morning, and frozen worms or shrimp in the afternoon.

All that said, I got the most colorful out of about 15 at the LFS. So I expect he'll end up very nice.

There a lot that can factor in, but for the most part as the GT mature so does the color. :)

Are you sure you have a GT?
Generally even poor quality females have a lot of colour on them. A lot of people get sold blue acaras as GT's and vice versa. You wouldn't be the first to have been mis-sold a fish and you certainly wouldn't be the last.
