At the local zoo and sea parks there are ray pools where the public can hand feed rays. Do they get that way in home aquariums? I realize that the pools are saltwater and is that a factor?

My rays here at home are all hand fed and therefor as "tame" as an aquarium/zoo ray. But I use the term "tame" loosly as they are never really "tame" they are still a wild animal and should be handled and fed with caution.

I also handfeed my rays. Ill pet my one female but thats it and only when she comes out of the water.

I enjoy handfeeding the ones at aquariums, I cant imagine having that at home. They mob you at the aquarium, and their skin has a great texture.

yeah i am really scared to get stung. But i have seen that they dont wanna use them unless they have too. When my aro was housed with my rays it attacked the rays alot. The rays never even attempted to sting them.
