Do I have a chance with this dovii?

I am getting more fry than I can handle with my dovii pair than I can handle. They are breeding every 4-6 weeks like clockwork. I am thinking about removing my female.

My question is, is there any possible tankmates that can go with a solo male dovii in a 180? I think I know the answer, but I am curious if any of you have had successful experiences. I am considering selling the pair and doing more of a community tank.

in a 180 the chances are not good.
 
I think a big male festae would go alright I had one in a tank for a while with a dovii and it did fine. How big is ur dovii?

His is a big dovii. But I am afraid these are not meant to be with other fish. Unless you want to get rid of the fish.
