i have two port acaras, one is small, i believe its male, very colorful, green and blue, the other is full grown, and while its no where near as colorful im not sure if its a female or not, can anyone help the first pics are what i think might be female, the last two pics are what im fairly certain is a male, anyway, any opinions??????

Bbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuummmmmmmpppppppp

i cant tell from those pics sorry

the less colorful looks female, but I couldn't get a sense of the other one

I have a pair of port cichlids myself, and it is very clear which one is male (bigger, thicker, longer fins, more aggressive) and which one is female (smaller, narrower, shorter fins, passive)

if you cannot tell, it probably means the smaller one just hasn't put on enough size yet . . .

a better picture - - full profitle, unobstructed view - - would help

ok, here is some more pics, is this a female or not??????

im starting to think its a male, its being pretty agressive, but opinions would still help me

I'm leaning towards female based on the pics above . . . here are some shots of my adult male port, for comparison
