Well i have a 10 gallon that i had my dwarf puffers in. There are 2 hoping they would breed, but they are prolly the same sex, as they have been in they tank for a year together. anyways....i used to have a small community in my 30, but then i started having fights in my 125 and had to move fish. Which killed off most of my community. It only left a Giant Danio, Swordtail, and a Tadpole. Well i didnt want them to get eaten so in the ten they went. and there is 2 guppies in there too as a goldfish. The guppies were supposed to be a treat for the puffers. and The goldfish was in some feeders and was to big for my gar and it looked cool. so i saved it..

soooo now there is 2 DP, 1 Giant Danio, 1 Swordtail, 2 Guppies, 1 Goldfish and 1 tadpole. weird combo??????? :D:headbang2

Your goldfish is bound to have issues with the temperature required by your tropical fish as well as fin nipping issues on the part of the DP's. How long has the combo been that way?

Weird combo? No, just poorly planned. Start with ideal tank parameters for each of the fish, you'll start finding the problems.

How long have you had the fish in your avatar in your 125??? You should be worried about aggression and overcrowding issues there.

this is a totally temporary tank. I am in the process of re-siliconing a 30 gallon, which will house my gaint danio and swordtail. i will add more of each. And as for the goldfish...i haven't decided. i will put it in a little pnod i have for the summer. then i will decide what to do with it. And the 10 will remain the dp tank.

as for the length 2 months for everything and i just put the Goldfish like a week ago.

I meant the 125 most of those fish in your avatar all get over 1' long, especially the managuense, pike, and pacu get 3' plus everyday.

o i know everything is fine right now...no fights. the only agression is from the mota but he isnt the biggest.

I plan on putting the pacu in a pond but if that cant happen i will trade it in. And as long as everything stays well i would keep it as is. The gar will go eventually as he grows. He is growing very slow.

And nothing bothers the silver dat for some odd reason. seeing as he is like the smallest. :screwy:

Wrong site to try and think you are weird :D
