Do I have enough light?

I have a 29 gallon with a nova extreme t5 ho 48 watt light fixture. One 10,000 k and one 6500k, it is raised about 2 inches above the tank

Ok thanks, what makes it enough light. Cuz its less than 2wpg, just wondering because what i read in the past when i was just starting with planted tank that you need 2+ wpg

Now with all this new tech, wpg doesnt mean much...

Even with the same lengths and watts,T5-HO puts out a lot more light than say a T5, and T5 more than T8,
Heck i've seen led spot lights at 5 watts produce more light than t5ho
