i cant seem to get rid of this case of ich i have. I have my water at 30c so far and i used the following meds: Ick guard II because i got plecos & spotted pims in the tank(its says its for scaless fish). Followed the directions took the carbon out, even added some salt, nothing.
then i went out and bought ich-x, the ick guard ran out(only good for a 120g which is the size of my tank) same thing happend, followed the directions, but this bottle is only good for 2 applications, so when that ran out i went out and bought rid*ich+ iam on my first going to do my second application soon just want some opinions mybe iam missing something?

the ich was originaly on my peacok bass but it died, then i noticed it went onto my red devils. I used the ich x and my pims died, and now today i notice its on my flowerhorn!!!rrrrr!!!:irked: .

i was thinking mybe;
-rasie the temp some more.
-take out my biorocks so i just have the sponge in my filters, or just take everything out of my filter so that its just passing water!?i donno?

i need help! i started treatment on sun, this **** should of been gone by now no?

I wouldn't bother with those chemicals. Just add 1tbsp/2.5 gallons of water, and raise the temp to 84dF.

and how long you had it. I medicate for two weeks after any visible signs of ich has gone.

:iagree:

just leave the carbon out, you don't even really need to run carbon normally.

the thing is ich can only be killed during a certain stage of its life, those meds you have used probably kill the ich, but the ich you see on the fish isn't able to be killed. thats why you increase the temps so the ich goes through its life cycle faster and gets to the point of which it CAN be killed.
