do I have to freeze the food?

I've stopped feeding chicken to my pBass upon advice by the people here. Now they are taking fish fillets and prawns.
My question is do I have to freeze it a day or two before feeding them?

I get them fresh, cause I live near the sea. Is there a danger of living parasites if I feed them fresh without freezing?

Freezing would be best to ensure that no parasites get into your bass.

I would freeze, can't hurt and helps keep it if you don't use right away.
