Do i need a airpump?

If i have a Wet/dry set up with water constantly being pushed into the tank.
Is it essential that i still run a air pump?

I have a eheim 2217 spray bar above water which creates bubbles as well.

Tank size 5x2x2.
i think its a 4000l pump in my sump.

Nope , aslong as you have enough water movement then you shouldnt need any type of air pumps going in your tank .
